Anchorages in Danish Wadden Sea
UNESCO Wadden Sea: anchor only in tidal channels, never on mudflats
The Danish Wadden Sea (Vadehavet) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All tidal channels dry at low water — anchor ONLY in the deep tidal channels, never on the mudflats. Buoyed channels shift after winter storms — use current charts only. Bird sanctuaries are closed to landing April 1–July 15. The tidal range is 1.5–2.0m — the largest in Denmark.
