About This Anchorage

Koh Hong (Hong Island) near Krabi features a spectacular hidden lagoon (hong) accessible by kayak through a sea cave at certain tidal states. The outer anchorage is in clear water with good visibility to the sandy bottom between coral patches. The island is part of Had Noppharat Thara–Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park. Stunning scenery with vertical karst walls. Day-trip boats visit from Krabi and Ao Nang but the anchorage is less crowded than Phi Phi.
