Great Bay Immigration: Mon–Fri 0800–1200, 1300–1630; Sat–Sun 0900–1200. Simpson Bay Immigration: Mon–Sat 0800–1230, 1330–1630. VHF 16 for Philipsburg Port Authority. Report position on arrival. No anchoring within 200m of cruise ships while ships are in port in Philipsburg. Cruise ship wash is significant — maintain clear berth. Check ship schedule at www.sintmaartenharbor.com. Princess Juliana Airport approach overhead: Aircraft on final approach to runway 10 pass at 20m AGL over Maho Beach — extremely loud. This affects Little Bay, Mullet Bay, and Simpson Bay South anchorages. Not suitable for noise-sensitive passengers. Declare all firearms, ammunition, and cash above USD $11,000 on arrival. Non-declaration results in vessel seizure and criminal charges. Weekly mooring fees apply to all vessels anchored in Sint Maarten waters.
