Treasure Cay Airport connects directly to Fort Lauderdale and Nassau — making this a convenient crew change point for US-based boats. The 0.6–0.8m Abacos tidal range causes the shallow beach areas to vary considerably over the tidal cycle — best for swimming at mid to high tide. A natural stopping point for vessels transiting between Marsh Harbour/Hopetown and Green Turtle Cay.
