About This Anchorage

Pacific Harbour is a purpose-built resort and residential community on the south coast of Viti Levu, approximately 45 minutes west of Suva. It is the adventure tourism capital of Fiji — base for Beqa Lagoon diving operations (Beqa Adventure Divers), white-water rafting on the Navua River, zip-lining, and cultural village tours. The canal network inside Pacific Harbour provides a well-sheltered anchorage. The Arts Village has restaurants, shops, and supermarket. Pacific Harbour is the closest provisioning point for boats heading into Beqa Lagoon (10nm south). The area has reasonable facilities for a yacht — fuel nearby, provisions at the supermarket, and excellent dive operations for Beqa. The cultural Fijian village experience tours from Pacific Harbour are well-organized and provide an excellent introduction to Fijian culture before visiting villages independently.

• !Canal depth at low tide — 0.8–1.2m tidal range; check draught against charted depths
• !Canal entrance bar — shallow at low tide; enter at half tide or above
• !Limited swinging room in canals — stern tie may be required
