Kosterhavet National Park anchoring rules and rock navigation
Kosterhavet National Park (Sweden's first marine national park): no anchoring in bottom-protection zones (marked on charts), 5-knot speed limit May 15–Aug 31, stay 100m from seal/bird sanctuaries, maximum 2 consecutive nights anchored in same spot. Rock navigation is challenging — lobster and crab pot lines are everywhere on the west coast. Approach pot buoys slowly from downwind.

Set Your Anchor Alarm Before You Sleep
On the Bohuslän coast, tidal streams and crab pot lines can complicate anchoring. Safety Anchor Alarm monitors your GPS position continuously — alerting you the moment your anchor starts to drag.
