About This Anchorage

Anse des Blancs Sablons at the NW tip of Finistère is one of Brittany's most dramatic and beautiful anchorages — a long white sand beach with views across to the Île de Sein and (in clear conditions) Ouessant. The beach is backed by dunes and is one of the finest in Brittany. A fair-weather anchorage — fully exposed to the Atlantic W/SW. Used as a staging anchorage before or after the Chenal du Four passage (one of the most tide-critical passages in France).
