About This Anchorage

The Anse du Goviro on the E coast of the Presqu'île de Quiberon is one of the most pleasant sandy anchorages in S Brittany — a wide sandy beach with good holding, moderate Breton crowds, and the dramatic tidal landscape of the Quiberon Peninsula. La Trinité-sur-Mer (6nm N) is one of Brittany's premier sailing bases — home to the legendary Figaro solo racing fleet. The Presqu'île de Quiberon's W coast (Côte Sauvage) is one of the most dramatic rocky coastlines in Brittany — accessible by walk from the anchorage.
