About This Anchorage

Baie de Figari is a large, sheltered gulf 8nm W of Bonifacio — quieter than the famous Rondinara and offering excellent Maestrale shelter in a wild, undeveloped setting. Sandy patches between Posidonia provide good holding. Multiple anchorage spots within the gulf. A good choice when Rondinara is full or in peak Maestrale season when the deeper inner gulf provides maximum protection.
