About This Anchorage

Saint-Florent is a charming N Corsica sailing town at the head of a wide bay, best known as the gateway to the Agriates Desert (Désert des Agriates) — a wild, uninhabited coastal zone with some of Corsica's most beautiful and isolated beaches (Saleccia, Loto, Ghignu). These beaches are only accessible by water — anchor off and swim in. The town itself has excellent restaurants, a famous Genoese cathedral, and a lively summer atmosphere. The Cap Corse mountains provide good N/NW protection.
