About This Anchorage

Ton Sai Bay is the main harbour of Koh Phi Phi Don, facing south between the two dramatic hills of the island's waist. The village, restaurants, dive shops, and ferry terminal are all here. Sandy bottom in the central bay offers good holding. The bay is sheltered from N/NE winds but open to southern swell. Can become uncomfortable in S swell events. The contrast of turquoise water and limestone cliffs is extraordinary.
