About This Anchorage
Leverick Bay Marina on the southwestern shore of North Sound is the best-provisioned marina in Gorda Sound — serving as the provisioning hub for the entire eastern North Sound anchorage fleet. The marina has fuel, water, ice, a well-stocked convenience store, chandlery, and the Leverick Bay Resort restaurant. The anchorage in the bay is calm and well-protected. The marina VHF 16 monitors continuously. Leverick Bay provides an essential service to sailors anchoring throughout North Sound — the only place in Gorda Sound with provisions, fuel, and marina services outside of BEYC. The walk up to the resort pool and restaurant has excellent views over North Sound.
