About This Anchorage

Sveti Vlas is a small Bulgarian village with a character markedly different from the mass-tourism resorts of Sunny Beach and Nessebar's summer crowds. The village maintains a quiet, residential atmosphere with a traditional waterfront and the modern Marina Dinevi — one of Bulgaria's finest marinas, opened in 2007 with 300 berths, full facilities, and an attractive waterfront development. The marina has transformed Sveti Vlas into the most practical sailing base on the central Bulgarian coast, offering fuel, water, electricity, and a chandlery rarely found elsewhere on the Black Sea coast. The bay anchoring option provides a free alternative for boats that don't require full marina services. The village is a pleasant contrast to the resort strip — small fish restaurants, a traditional Bulgarian kafana, and a beach far quieter than nearby Sunny Beach.
