About This Anchorage
Bromarv is a small sheltered bay in the inner Tenhola archipelago — a tranquil anchorage set well back from the open coast and protected by layers of granite islands and skerries on all sides. The village of Bromarv itself is tiny and quiet, typical of the inner SW Finnish archipelago: wooden summer cottages, boathouses pulled up from the water, and an extraordinary silence broken only by seabirds and the splash of fish. The mud bottom provides excellent holding and the complete shelter makes this one of the most reliable overnight anchorages between Hanko and Helsinki. For sailors seeking the authentic Finnish archipelago experience without marinas or facilities, Bromarv delivers.
