Øresund: 1–3 kt current and commercial shipping lanes
Øresund carries commercial shipping (ferries, tankers, container ships) and strong currents of 1–3 kt flowing north or south depending on Baltic water levels. Keep to starboard, maintain AIS watch. Roskilde Fjord is an excellent sheltered alternative to open Øresund anchorages — max depth 6m, mud bottom, very good holding.
