Maximum 2.0m draught throughout Limfjord
The Limfjord has a maximum navigable depth of approximately 2.0m (recommended 1.5m). Deep-draught vessels cannot enter. The North Sea entrance at Thyborøn has a tidal range of 0.4–1.0m and currents of 1–2 kt — cross at HW slack. Eelgrass beds are widespread throughout — verify sandy bottom before anchoring.
