About This Location
Calanque de Morgiou is narrower and wilder than Sormiou — arguably the most dramatic of the accessible Marseille calanques. The white limestone walls rise 300m vertically from the water, and the turquoise clarity is extraordinary. A small fishing hamlet of cabanons lines the head of the calanque. Very limited space — 6–8 boats maximum. One of the classic Mediterranean calanque experiences, beloved by Marseillais.
