About This Anchorage

Jastarnia sits at roughly the midpoint of the Hel Peninsula — where the sandspit is about 200m wide at its broadest. The small fishing port and yacht harbour has a traditional character with a working fishing fleet. The town has excellent fish restaurants and a pleasant promenade along the Puck Bay shore. Jastarnia is the main windsurfing and kitesurfing hub on the peninsula — the consistent bay winds and flat water make it a world-class venue. The cross-peninsula nature of the town means sailors can walk across to the Baltic beach in a few minutes for a completely different sea experience.
