About This Anchorage

The small cove at Rewa and the adjacent Rzucewo headland form one of the few natural indent anchorages on the western shore of Gdańsk Bay. The area is protected as part of the Nadmorski Landscape Park — the pine-covered dunes, sandy beaches, and preserved natural coastline are among the best remaining examples of the original Baltic shore environment. Very shallow throughout — this is a centreboarder or shoal-draught anchorage. The castle ruins at Rzucewo date to the medieval period. A peaceful, nature-oriented stop away from the heavy commercial traffic of the main bay.
